Fritillaria imperialis and the various Allium species are the flower bulbs with the strongest smell. Chives (A. schoenoprasum), ramson (A. ursinum), onion sets (A. cepa), shallots (A. ascalanicum) and garlic (A. sativum) all belong to the Allium family.
